Prescription Center Homecare

We will do our best to make sure that you receive high quality care from our trained professional staff that will make your home IV experience as pleasant as possible.

Thank you for selecting Prescription Center Homecare for your home infusion care.

Each therapy is directed by the attending provider. When contacted, we discuss the patient’s needs and plan of care. The Registered Nurse (IV specialist) and Pharmacist will then design a specific patient schedule as per the provider’s orders including lab tests, office visits, and other follow-up. We will be in continual contact with your provider’s office to report patient status and make adjustments as your provider orders.

We will coordinate with other health agencies if the patient is also receiving or is in need of home healthcare besides parenteral services.

Patient Care

We are available to initiate services any time of day or day of the week. Our Registered Nurses and Pharmacists are available to the patient 24 hours a day. Our office is located in Southeast Idaho providing assurance to the patient and family that we will be there when you need us.

Patient Monitoring

Patient Monitoring and follow-up are extremely important to us. There is continual contact with the patient by both the Pharmacist and Registered Nurse. The monitoring and follow-up are designed specifically for each patient based on instructions and patient needs.

Patient Education

All patient care and education are provided by a Registered Nurse. Patients are taught aseptic technique and catheter care. Our Registered Nurses train the patient how to properly infuse their medication and are present on each infusion until the patient demonstrates understanding and the ability to administer the medication themselves.

Medication Administration

Medication administration is by state-of-the-art techniques using various infusion devices designed for both home and ambulatory infusions. Our Registered Nurses are experienced with various routes of administration, Intramuscular, Subcutaneous, IV; including central venous administration (Broviac, Hickman, Groshong, Port-A0Cath, PICC lines, L-Cath Landmark, etc.)
